Thanks to a love of English and travelling during my childhood I went to live in Malaysia and teach English before going to the University of Nottingham to study English Literature and Language. From there I did a stint living in Switzerland and came back to Brighton to complete a CELTA course. Straight after this I went to Brazil to write the Rough Guide, before moving to Madrid, where I taught English for five years. During this time I spent the summers working in Italy and France as a private tutor. I always really wanted to write so I started to move over to writing ELT materials and general educational resources. I’ve just taken the leap back to live in the U.K. where I continue to write learning courses and tests amongst training capoeira and attempting my own children’s books.
