8. Mitzvot – part 2 – beyn adam l’makom

Our second podcast on Mitzvot concentrates on what we might call the ritual Mitzvot, the rules about things Jews might do in their relationship with God. Maureen and Clive make clear that these Mitzvot are no less and no more important than the ones discussed in our other podcast on social Mitzvot, but they are often more well known. They are particular to Judaism so that people might think this is the heart of what Judaism is about – the rituals – but we think these two podcasts go together so that both ideas are given equal importance.
