2. The covenant at Sinai and Moses

In this podcast, Maureen and Clive consider one of the founding stories of the Jewish People, the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai. That’s when God makes the key covenant with them, promising to have a particular relationship with them, but with the troublesome condition – they’ll have to live according to God’s system as outlined in the Torah, or face the consequences! We’ll also spend a bit of time on Moses and find out how important – or not – he is to Jews.
