Introduction to The Early Tudors
This podcast introduces us to the main themes of the Early Tudors period and the excitement of studying how a completely new family seized the throne of England. How its kings and queens first united a country and then divided it by bringing in religious change. Does it mean the end of the middle ages? It assesses how well England adapted to its position in a new Europe, as well as growing divisions between rich and poor and it asks the question of did they even call themselves “the Tudors”?Tutors:
