Chapters 21 - 24 of Frankenstein continues apace, with the body of the murdered Henry Clerval prompting Victor to fall into another long term illness. We discuss how Henry is the link to humanity. Victor returns home & prepares to marry Elizabeth, promising to reveal his secret but only after they are married, demonstrating the intimacy of the bond. The tutorial then goes onto discuss the murder of Elizabeth and the aftermath, including the final destruction of Victor’s link to society. He becomes obsessed with revenge, like the monster. We discuss transformation of Victor - is he the true monster?
